Clash for Windows Installation Guide

Before installing, confirm that the file matches your system and verify its hash. Archived software no longer receives official maintenance, so verification matters more than with a normal installer.

If you have not downloaded the file yet, start with Clash for Windows Download, then use the 0.20.39 release page to check version status and download links.

Check Architecture

• Most Windows 10 / Windows 11 users need x64.
• ARM devices need ARM64.
• macOS users should distinguish Intel from Apple Silicon.
• Linux users should choose a format that fits their distribution and architecture.

Verify the Package

Get-FileHash .\Clash.for.Windows.Setup.0.20.39.exe -Algorithm SHA256

If the hash does not match a trusted source, delete the file and stop installation.

After installation, continue with Import a Subscription. If the app fails to start, use Troubleshooting.
